Fifteen years ago, in 2010, American Express started Small Business Saturday as a way to encourage consumers to “stay local” and shop their community businesses. The idea took off, and in 2011 the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution supporting small business saturday with our Small Business Administration officially co-sponsoring it that year. Today, the SBA estimates that more than 36 million independent businesses across our nation, like renew.calm and its employees, will benefit by your shopping local this holiday season.
This year, shoppers who stop by renew.calm on Small Business Saturday on November 29, 2025 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3 PM, can enjoy special gifts with their purchase plus 20% savings on many of their favorite spa brands.
